Salem, Mo. – A two-vehicle crash near Oates has sent one Boss man to the hospital. According to the Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 9:17 p.m. December 12 on Highway J, one mile west of Oates in Reynolds County.
An eastbound 2005 Chevy Silverado driven by Virginia Graham, 69 of Boss, crossed the center of the roadway and struck a 1999 Lincoln driven by Donald Barton, 74 of Boss, before traveling off the left side of the roadway and striking a tree. Graham suffered serious injuries in the accident and was airlifted to Mercy-St. Johns Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.

Barton did not report any injuries in the crash.
