West Plains, MO – The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) was honored to be awarded with 2023 tax credits from the Missouri Department of Economic Development through the Small Business Incubator Tax Credit Program. OzSBI received $82,611 in tax credits, which are available through December 31st, 2023. This program helps small business incubators leverage local donations to use for non-operating expenditures that support new business creation throughout Missouri.
Tom and Judy Norton of West Plains kicked off the tax credit giving season with a generous donation to OzSBI utilizing the 50% Missouri tax credit. OzSBI appreciates their donation and commitment to supporting the local business ecosystem. Tom shared, “I donate because I believe in OzSBI. I remember the early years when I volunteered as a mentor and we visited small businesses to help them. OzSBI is an invaluable organization, and the tax credits are a bonus.”
If you have any Missouri tax liability for the 2023 year, you are eligible to receive a 50% tax credit by making a donation to OzSBI. This is available to both individuals and businesses in the state of Missouri. Donating through the tax credit program is an excellent way to keep your hard-earned tax dollars in your local economy while realizing a significant income tax credit.
