Houston, MO – The Texas County Memorial Hospital (TCMH) Healthcare Foundation is pleased to announce the kickoff of its annual “Celebrate Our Memories” program in partnership with TCMH Hospice of Care, the hospital’s hospice department. This cherished holiday tradition offers community members a heartfelt way to honor or remember special individuals while supporting a vital local service.
Adorning the hospital’s front lobby throughout the holiday season will be a magnificent nine-foot Christmas tree, exquisitely decorated by Shari McCallister. The tree will display personalized ornaments, each bearing the name or a special message for someone dear. These ornaments symbolize the love and appreciation held for friends, family members, teachers, and other significant people in the community.
By sponsoring an ornament for $25, individuals and groups can contribute to this meaningful display. Each ornament purchased will be carefully hung on the tree, serving as a visual testament to the community’s shared memories and connections.
“With the generosity of our community, we aim to have at least 100 ornaments adorning our tree this holiday season,” said Jeff Gettys, President of the TCMH Healthcare Foundation. “This program not only allows us to celebrate those who have touched our lives but also supports the compassionate care provided by TCMH Hospice of Care.”
All funds raised from the ornament sponsorships will go directly to TCMH Hospice of Care, dedicated to providing award-winning hospice care to patients and their families in Texas County and surrounding areas. The proceeds will help ensure that hospice services remain accessible to all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay.
