Houston, MO – The TCMH Healthcare Foundation is proud to announce that the 2024 Hospice of Care Online Auction has broken yet another all-time record, raising an impressive $38,053.21 in monetary and donated items. The funds will directly benefit the TCMH Hospice of Care program, which provides compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families in the Texas County area.
“We are beyond thrilled with the outcome of this year’s auction,” said Jeff Gettys, President of the TCMH Healthcare Foundation. “The incredible generosity of our donors and bidders demonstrates how much this community cares about supporting local hospice services. Every dollar raised will make a meaningful difference in providing comfort and dignity to patients and their loved ones.”
The auction featured a wide variety of items, from unique gifts and experiences to valuable collectibles and handcrafted goods, generously donated by individuals, local businesses, and organizations. Participants from coast to coast contributed to the auction’s success through enthusiastic bidding.
Cheryl Maley, Director of the Hospice of Care program, expressed her gratitude: “This record-breaking total is a testament to the compassion and generosity of our community. Hospice of Care is about providing comfort, dignity, and support during life’s most challenging moments, and these funds will help us continue to fulfill that mission. We cannot thank our supporters enough for making this possible.”
The TCMH Hospice of Care program serves patients regardless of their ability to pay, and funds raised through the online auction ensure that the program can continue to meet the needs of families in the region.
Gettys added, “We are grateful to every donor, sponsor, and bidder who made this year’s auction a success. It’s a true reminder of the power of community.”
