Houston, MO—Texas County Memorial Hospital has named Mary Roderick of Houston the March employee of the month.
Roderick works in the dietary department. She has been employed at TCMH for eighteen and a half years. Elaine Koch, dietary director, nominated Roderick for the award.
“Mary is very dependable and such a hard worker,” Koch said. “She is the rock of our department.”
Koch explained that Roderick is a great support person to all of her co-workers with assisting in whatever needs to be accomplished.
“Despite all of her current responsibilities, Mary consistently strives to further her expertise in the dietary department with additional training in new areas,” Koch said.
She added that Roderick makes the very best banana bread.
As employee of the month, Roderick received a certificate honoring her achievement; a pin; a special parking place in the TCMH lot; one day of paid vacation; a $50 gift card, and gift certificates to Paws N Claws, D&L Florist, Wehr Motors, Savor Grill and Big Red Car Wash. A reception will be held in her department to honor Roderick.
Roderick is eligible for the 2021 TCMH employee of the year award.
