TCMH Recieves Two New Ambulances

Texas County, MO. – In February, the Texas County Memorial Hospital received two new ambulances. The two new vehicles were approved by the Texas County Commissioners using Federal funds provided by the American Rescue Plan Act. This funding was signed into law in 2021 to help during the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The two ambulances purchased were 2024 type three ambulances from the Osage Industries in Linn, MO. They were bought for $172,035 per ambulance. They will run at an average of 6,100 miles per month and will replace two eight-year-old ambulances that had over 500,000 miles each. In addition to the ambulances, the Licking-based TCMH ambulance base will receive a new base as part of a renovation for the TCMH Licking Family Clinic, to be opened in June.
