West Plains, MO. – A Tecumseh man was killed over the weekend in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred on US 160, three miles east of Gainesville at 3:10 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023.
A Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Todd Huddleston, age 57 of Tecumseh, crossed the center of the roadway and struck the front of a Ford F150 driven by Kelly Davenport, age 46 of West Plains, totaling the motorcycle and moderately damaging the truck.
Huddleston had not been wearing a helmet and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. His passenger, Deborah Foote, age 66 of Tecumseh, was seriously injured in the crash and was airlifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment. The driver of the Ford was not reported as being injured in the crash.
Huddleston had not been wearing a helmet during the crash. Foote and Davenport had been wearing safety devices during the crash.
