Houston, MO. – Multiple cuts of service from Brightspeed across the state are causing landlines to be unable to receive or make calls.
This information comes from Texas County Emergency Management, and Texas County 911. They go on to say that under these outages, even dialing 911 may cause a busy tone when trying to call out.

Until these fiber cuts are repaired, this will not be resolved.
Officials also remind the public that cell phones and VoIP calls can still reach 911 normally, leaving these as a resident’s best option at this time.
