At 12:26 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, 2020, offender Larry Powers DOC No. 258106, confined to South Central Correctional Center in Licking, Missouri, was pronounced dead at Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Mr. Powers was a 54-year-old male serving a 25-year sentence for first-degree sodomy, and failure to register as a sex offender from Saline County. Mr. Powers was received in the Missouri Department of Corrections on Feb. 21, 2019.
