West Plains, MO. – The Thayer Police Department reported that a teen that went missing nearly two years ago has been found at Fort Leonard Wood.
Mikinzie Buchinski, then age 17, went missing on December 29, 2021 and was reported as a runaway. On August 9, 2023, at roughly 7:40 p.m., Buchinski, now age 19, was located at Fort Leonard Wood and is safe.
