KOSHKONONG, Mo. — A Thayer resident was killed Thursday evening after a two-vehicle accident near Koshkonong.
A report from the Highway Patrol states 48-year-old Carolyn Edwards was killed while traveling southbound on Highway 63 at Koshkonong around 6:42 pm Thursday. The report states the vehicle Edwards was driving, a Kia Rio, crossed the center line and hit an oncoming semi head-on.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is the 39th for this year for Highway Patrol Troop G compared to 34 at this time last year.
The Highway Patrol’s major crash unit, the Thayer Police and Fire Departments, the Koshkonong Fire Department and the Oregon County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
