Eminence, MO. – The 11th Annual Ozark Mountains Festival, hosted by the Eminence Chamber of Commerce, will be taking place May 3rd – May 5th in Eminence, MO. The Ozark Mountains Festival is a three-day event starting on May 3rd and ending on May 5th, meant to bring together friends and family for a fun time. Activities will begin that Friday with a history of tie rafting on the Current River, a re-enactment of legends of Eminence, and lemonade and refreshments at Shannon County Museum. The main day of the event is Saturday. There will be food trucks & booths, craft vendors, kids’ games, inflatables, live music, an old-fashioned pie auction, and the Crowing of Miss Eminence. The day is also filled with a side-by-side poker run, a lawn mower race, a car show & stroll down Main Street, and more for a family to enjoy a free event before the start of summer. There will be live music for the festival from Buzz and Ben Taylor, the Bressler Cousins, Revelry Hills, and Southern Edge.
The Annual Chamber Auction held on Saturday will feature both a live and silent auction. The Chamber Auction is one of the ways the Eminence Chamber of Commerce funds the Annual Christmas In Eminence Lighted Parade held on the first Saturday of December each year. To finish off the 3 days of fun there will be a community church service at the High school Gym with a potluck dinner. For more information on the Ozarks Mountain Festival visit the Facebook page.
