Bakersfield, MO. – It’s been a week since the devastating storms and tornadoes that ripped through our area and left sections of the Ozarks decimated.
Despite all of the trouble and messes left behind by the winds last Friday night, the communities of the Ozarks have really pitched in to assist one another.
Ozark County Sheriff Cass Martin recorded with us and addressed just that, recalling the outpouring of people who have offered resources and labor to those in need.
Despite all of the damage that impacted infrastructure in the area, the swift response of local organizations and private citizens has gone a long way to speed up the recovery of the area as a whole.
This sentiment has been echoed throughout many different official agencies, as the people of our corner of the world have proven their mettle in a time of crisis.
