Pet Lovers! – The following babies were all featured in the Pet of The Day posts on our Facebook page. Ozark Radio News is trying to bring awareness to the overcrowding in animal and pet shelters. All the pets this week are currently being held with Ozarks Pet Rescue. They are all in their first year of life and have never had a home of their own. On Monday, we featured Holly. Holly is a 3-year-old Red Tick Hound who has been waiting for her forever home at Ozarks Pet Rescue for a while. Holly loves other dogs, and chickens, and has tried to play with cats but can get rough while playing with the cats. She is the perfect little companion with a whole ton of loyalty and love for her human. She would love a family that would give her loyalty and love in return. Holly is sweet, happy, and has an absolutely adorable personality. She is leash-trained, housebroken, and crate trained. So perfect in every way. Holly weighs about 35 to 40 lbs, so this mid-sized dog is perfect for anybody. On Tuesday, we featured Cliff. Cliff is a three-month-old cat waiting for his forever home at Ozarks Pet Rescue. He was born on July 17, 2024. Cliff is very loving and a purring machine. he loves to play and climb, so if you have a cat tower or tons of toys, here is the boy for you. This sweet boy loves humans and does well with other cats. On Wednesday, we featured Draco. Draco is a 9-week-old male Springer Spaniel Mix who is still waiting for any home at Ozarks Pet Rescue. Draco is fun-loving but he is desperately wanting a home. He has never had a family to love him and would love to finally find one. He enjoys spending time playing with his 1 sister and 5 brothers, two of which have been featured last week, Edwards and Jason. Draco has started learning to be leash-trained, crate trained, and has started on basic commands to give you adopters a head start. Draco has had his 1st set of vaccines, dewormed, Nexguard Plus, microchipped, and will be scheduled to be neutered. This sweet baby’s adoption fee is $150. On Thursday, we featured Aaron. Aaron is a three-month-old cat who has been waiting a long time for a family at the Ozarks Pet Rescue. Aaron is a complete people lover. He loves everyone who gives him attention. He loves to play and snuggle and find love in every part of his day. He shares a home with multiple other cats all waiting for adoptions and would be okay to find some new cat family where he goes but he would also be okay with being your #1 everything. On Friday, we featured Sky. Sky is an 11-week-old female boxer/beagle mix still waiting for her home at Ozarks Pet Rescue. She is a very docile sweet baby. Sky is amazing with cats, dogs, all livestock, and kids. So she is the all-in-one package. She loves to run and play in her foster yard with her foster siblings but she would love to find a forever home and family. Sky is still learning basic commands and is working on leash training. She will come spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and Nexguard Plus. I had the chance to meet this baby and she is as sweet as she can be. She is playful, and full of energy but not too much that she becomes a handful. Sky would make the perfect companion for anybody and she would love to know she has a home she won’t be kicked out of.
