Thornfield Man Arrested for Making Death Threats, Fighting Deputies in Ozark County

Gainesville, Mo. – A Thornfield man was arrested after making death threats at a residence in Ozark County.

Brandon Guidry of Thornfield was arrested by deputies with the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office after they received a call of an armed individual threatening to kill people at a residence in Isabella on June 14, 2022. Online court documents show that Guidry has a list of previous protection orders against him from the Isabella area from 2018.

Guidry had an active felony warrant for parole violation out of the state of Louisiana, and an active warrant out of Douglas County, MO. He was taken into custody and transported to the Ozark County Jail.

Once at the jail, Guidry refused to cooperate and attempted to fight the jailers and deputies. The Sheriff’s Office stated that charges are currently pending as a result and he is currently being held in the Ozark County Jail on outstanding warrants.
