Hartville, MO – Three individuals from Norwood were arrested on Friday on drug related offenses. These arrests were made following an investigation by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office. The Wright County Special Operations Group (SOG), composed of Wright County Deputies, Mountain Grove Police Officers and Mansfield Police Officers, served a high-risk narcotics search warrant on April 15, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. on Wright Street in Norwood.
Officers seized methamphetamine and paraphernalia commonly used to ingest illegal narcotics. As a result of the investigation, three subjects were arrested, two of them were transported to the Wright County Jail.
Kim Anthony, age 58, of Norwood, a prior and persistent felony drug offender was placed on a 24-hold for felony possession of a controlled substance, pending formal charges.
Brett Anthony, age 41, of Norwood, also a prior and persistent felony offender and currently being supervised by the Missouri Department of Probation and Parole, was placed on a 24-hour hold for felony possession of a controlled substance, pending formal charges.
All suspects should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
