West Plains, MO – A West Plains man and two juveniles were injured in a Sunday afternoon accident north of White Church. The accident occurred at 2 p.m. September 12 on county Road 1940. A 1995 Dodge Dakota driven by Brian Davis-Haish, 22 of West Plains, was traveling eastbound when the Dakota traveled off the left side of the road, overcorrected, travelling back over the roadway and striking a post. The vehicle was totaled.
Haish-Davis suffered moderate injuries and was air lifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. His two juvenile passengers, a 15-year-old male and a 17-year-old male, suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. No person in the vehicle was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
This accident was investigated by Trooper L. Pruiett with the assistance of Cpl. M. Weakley of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G.
