Marshfield, MO. – Three juveniles have been confirmed to be deceased during a house fire in the early morning hours of Monday, November 13th.
Fire crew officials stated that the origin of the fire was determined to be accidental. The juveniles were found on the second floor, and the fire is said to have caused a part of the roof of the house to collapse. The ages of the juveniles have been reported to be between 12 and 16 years old.
A dog was additionally found on the property Monday evening, severely burned. It was taken to a vet for medical treatment.
No firefighters were hurt during the process of containing the fire, and the Missouri State Fire Marshal is still investigating the fire.
Fire departments that responded to the scene include Elkland, Fair Grove, Logan-Rogersville, Marshfield, Seymour, and Strafford.
