Three Vehicle Crash near Mountain Grove injures Springfield man

Mountain Grove, Mo. – A three-vehicle crash near Mountain Grove totals two vehicles and leaves only one person injured. According to Highway Patrol reports, the accident happened on US 60, one mile west of Mountain Grove at 6:30 pm Tuesday.

A 1989 Chevy 3500 driven by Marlin Reese, 73 of Vanzant, slowed to turn when it was struck in the rear by a 2005 Chevy Colorado driven by Christopher Wright, 39 of Springfield, Mo. This initial crash caused a 2006 Kenworth driven by Patrick Masonbrink, 57 of Papillion, Ne., to strike the Colorado from behind.

Wright was the only person injured in the collision and was taken by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
