Thursday Morning Crash in Ellington Injures Drivers

Ellington, MO. – A two vehicle crash in Ellington injured both drivers Thursday morning. According to Highway Patrol reports, the accident occurred at the intersection of Missouri 106 and Main Street in Ellington at 1:08 a.m.

A northbound 2001 Mazda Tribute driven by Jeffery Nash, 45 of Ellington, failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2005 Chevy Silverado driven by Jonathan Stout, 33 of Ellington, totaling both vehicles. Both Stout and Nash suffered moderate injuries in the crash. Nash had not been wearing a seatbelt and was taken by ambulance to Iron County Memorial Hospital. Stout had been wearing his seatbelt and was taken by private vehicle to the same hospital.
