Houston, MO—Texas County Memorial Hospital has named Tina Gaddis of Mountain Grove the August employee of the month.
Gaddis works as an ER Tech in the emergency department. She has been employed at TCMH for seven years. Mandy Pender, director of emergency, nominated Gaddis for the award.
“Tina is our best ER tech preceptor,” Pender said. “She trains all of our new hires with so much patience.”
Pender explained that even after the employee’s orientation is complete, Tina remains a valuable resource for them. She receives texts and calls regarding procedures, splints or just support in general.
“Tina is a true leader and a huge asset to the department,” Pender said. “She recognizes the nurses and doctors needs long before she is ever asked.”
Pender further noted that Gaddis is very kind and respectful in addition to being extremely knowledgeable and taking pride in her work.
She added that if there was one word to describe Tina it would be a team player.
As employee of the month, Gaddis received a certificate honoring her achievement; a pin; a special parking place in the TCMH lot; one day of paid vacation; a $50 gift card, and gift certificates to Paws N Claws, D&L Florist, Wehr Motors, Savor Grill and Big Red Car Wash. A reception will be held in her department to honor Gaddis.
Gaddis is eligible for the 2021 TCMH employee of the year award.
