Wednesday evening at 7:40 PM, Trooper Kimes with Corporal Weakley arrived to a one vehicle accident four miles north of Alton, Missouri on Highway 19. The 2008 Ford F250, driven by David M. Brown, 67 of Alton, had travelled off of the right side of the roadway, overturning and ejecting Brown from the vehicle. Brown was pronounced dead at 8:51 PM by Dr. Korby Pogue.
This is the first fatality for Troop G for 2021, compared to 0 for the same time in 2020.
