Zanoni, MO. – A pair of 15-year-old juveniles were injured in a vehicular crash on the evening of Monday, December 11th.
This Ozark County crash took place on Highway 181 at Zanoni at around 4:45pm, according to the report.
One of the male juveniles was operating a Toyota Echo when they travelled off the roadway. They then overcorrected and ended up leaving the opposite side, which led to an overturn where the passenger was ejected from the vehicle. Neither of the teens were wearing a safety device.
The passenger who was ejected suffered serious injuries, which required their transport via air ambulance to Springfield for treatment. The hospital is listed as unknown. The driver suffered only minor injuries, and was taken to Baxter County Regional.
The investigator on this crash was Corporal D.J. Johnson of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
