A 32‑year‑old Alton man and his passenger were injured Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle crash three miles south of Alton.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the wreck happened at 5:10 p.m. on Highway 19 when a northbound 1998 Harley‑Davidson Road Glide experienced an equipment failure. The motorcycle ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

The driver, a 32‑year‑old man from Alton, suffered minor injuries. His passenger, a 34‑year‑old woman, also from Alton, sustained moderate injuries. Both were transported by Oregon County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains.
