A 15‑year‑old girl from Duke was hurt in an ATV crash Tuesday evening on Reed Road, three miles south of Licking. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the southbound 2024 Polaris Ranger she was driving overturned after she lost control on the roadway.
The driver, who was not wearing a safety device, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. A 15‑year‑old male passenger from Licking received minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to the same hospital.
