Two-day plein painting workshop set for Sept.

Join award-winning representational painter, John P. Lasater IV, on September 2nd & 3rd, 2020, for a 2-day plein air painting workshop experience hosted by the Harlin Museum of West Plains, MO.

Mr. Lasater was born and raised in Houston, TX, and now lives and paints in Siloam Springs, AR, where he has become known as one of the best plein air painters in the American outdoor painting genre. Once known for his impressionistic style and bravado brushwork, Lasater has recently evolved his style under the tutelage of Jerusalem Master, Israel Hershberg, to paint with a more mature and simplistic approach, which has earned him awards like Best of Show (twice) in Easels in Frederick, Best of Show (twice) in the Plein Air Southwest Salon, and Best of Show in Plein Air Rockies, just to name a few.
