Two Ellington Residents Seriously Injured Christmas Eve

Ellington, MO. – Two young adults are in serious condition after an accident that occurred on Christmas Eve.

Trooper Z.L. Richer was the investigator of this crash, which happened on Highway 21, 5 miles North of Ellington. Results of the investigation concluded that a Chevy Aveo traveled off the left side of the roadway, became airborne, and collided with an embankment at around 1:15pm.

The driver, Shyanne Nash, 20, and Austin Hill, 27, were both inflicted with serious injuries. Neither were wearing their safety device. Nash was transported by ambulance to Iron County Regional, while Hill was flown by air ambulance to St. Louis University Hospital for treatment.
