Ava, MO. – A pair of individuals were arrested on November 27th in Douglas County after being found with stolen vehicles.
This began when the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office responded to information regarding a pair of stolen vehicles at a local business. On arrival, Sheriff Degase and Deputies Box and Wilson located one vehicle at the business and another at a nearby residence.
One male, identified as Nathan Rogers, 43 of Springfield, was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant and relation to the stolen vehicles, as was Arneelia Cox, 48 of Branson, for her involvement.
Upon searching the vehicles, syringes, and scales were found that tested positive for methamphetamine.
Arrest charges for both include two felony counts of Stealing a Motor Vehicle, one felony count of Stealing $750 or more, a felony count of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and a felony count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Rogers picked up an additional felony count of Stealing of a Firearm. Rogers is being held on $25,000 bond, and Cox at $20,000.
