Two Fatally Injured In Crash In Cabool

Cabool, MO. – Two individuals were fatally injured following a crash that occurred yesterday, Friday, June 7.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash occurred at 2:40 p.m. on US 60, one mile west of Cabool. 31-year-old Larae English was driving westbound when her vehicle skidded off the left side of the roadway and overturned into the path of a semi-truck driving eastbound, causing the semi to strike the vehicle. English was pronounced dead at the scene. 42-year-old Christopher Thomas, a passenger in the overturned vehicle, was pronounced dead en route to the Hospital. The driver of the semi was uninjured but his vehicle received moderate damage.

This is Troop G’s 9th and 10th fatality for 2024 compared to 12 at this time last year. 

The crash was investigated by the Cabool Fire Department, Corporal T.L. Brown, Trooper N.B. Pointer, Corporal J.D. Piccinino, Corporal J.R. Sellars, Corporal S.J. Crewse as a reconstructionist, and crash team Sergeant M.K. Eden of Troop G.
