Ava, MO. – On January 7, 2022 the Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force (MJTF), composed of Douglas County Deputies, Ozark County Deputies, Ava Police Department Officers and COMET drug task force Agents, served a narcotics search warrant on East Highway 14 on Hebron Road near the Steel Bridge where methamphetamine, marijuana, and weapons were seized.
The following subjects were arrested and booked in the Douglas County Jail:
Brian Williams, age 64, of West Plains, MO. A warrant was issued for two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, a Class D Felony; Delivery of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, a Class C Felony; Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, A Class D Felony. Bond set at $15,000 Cash Only CPS bond supervision with twice weekly drug testing. GPS monitoring. With bond conditions No illegal substances including marijuana.
Sylvia Tyler, age 59, of West Plains, MO. A warrant was issued for two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, a Class D Felony; Delivery of Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, a Class C Felony. Bond set at $1500 Cash Only CPS bond supervision with twice weekly drug testing with bond conditions No illegal substances including marijuana.
Jason Miller, age 44, of Thayer, MO. A warrant was issued for Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, a Class D Felony. Bond set at $10,000 Cash Only CPS supervision with twice weekly drug testing with bond conditions No illegal substances including marijuana.
Brandi Miller, age 40, of Thayer, MO. A warrant was issued for Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine, a Class D Felony. Bond set at $500 Cash Only CPS supervision with twice weekly drug testing with bond conditions No illegal substances including marijuana. Miller has since posted bond and is under CPS supervision with twice weekly drug testing.
All suspects should be considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
