A Hartville man and his passenger were injured late Wednesday morning in a single‑vehicle crash on Missouri Z, ten miles north of Hartville.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the crash happened at 11:50 a.m. when a northbound 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned. The vehicle was totaled and was towed from the scene.

The driver, a 45‑year‑old man from Hartville, and a 39‑year‑old female passenger, also from Hartville, both suffered moderate injuries. Troopers say both were wearing seat belts. They were transported by ambulance to Cox South Medical Center in Springfield.
No other vehicles were involved.
