West Plains, MO. – Two Howell County teens are in the hospital following a one-vehicle crash near West Plains on Monday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred on Missouri 14, three miles west of US 63 at 3 pm.
An eastbound 2021 GMC Acadia driven by a 17-year-old male ran off the roadway and overturned. The driver and his passenger, 18-year-old Jacob Lampley of Caulfield, had not been wearing seat belts and suffered serious injuries. Both were taken by AirEvac air ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
