Two Injured in One Vehicle Crash Near Winona on Saturday

Winona, Mo. – Two people were injured in a one vehicle crash Saturday morning near Winona. According to the Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred on Old Highway 60, two miles west of Winona at 10:20 a.m. February 26.

A westbound 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Mary Ferguson, 18 of Eminence, ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. The driver had been wearing a seatbelt and suffered minor injuries. Her passenger, John Ferguson, 57 of Eminence, had not been wearing his seatbelt and suffered serious injuries. John Ferguson was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.
