According to Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two Shannon County Jail inmates escaped Sunday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol posted on its official twitter page that around 3 p.m. the inmates assaulted a jailer and escaped in a white Chevy Colorado with a toolbox in the back.

The Highway Patrol provided booking photos of the two inmates but did release their names.
