Peace Valley, MO. – A pair of teenage males have become injured following a crash where they struck a tree at roughly 6:48pm last night.
A 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 was being driven on County Road 2000 East of Peace Valley, driven by a 14-year-old minor from Peace Valley, when they crashed. According to the report from the Highway Patrol, the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a sign, overcorrected, traveled off the left side of the roadway, and stopped when it struck a tree.
The 14 year-old driver sustained minor injuries, but a 16-year-old male occupant suffered moderate injuries in the accident. Both were transported by private vehicle to Mercy St Francis for treatment.
This accident was investigated by Master Sergeant D.A. Huffman of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
