Two Marshfield Residents Injured, One Receives DWI Charges

Marshfield, MO. – Two individuals from Marshfield have sustained injuries after striking multiple trees in a crash on Saturday, November the 4th.

According to the report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, this crash happened on Highway KK, roughly two miles South of Marshfield. Jessie Wardecki, a 31-year-old Marshfield resident, was operating a Ford F150 while moving Southbound. Wardecki was driving while under the influence and travelled off the right side of the roadway at 10:10pm. The vehicle was totaled as it struck a row of trees.

Wardecki received serious injuries, and one occupant, Jason Taber, 38 of Marshfield, received moderate injuries. Neither were wearing their safety device, and both were taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment.

Wardecki additionally received arrest charges including Felony DWI Involving Physical Injury, No Seatbelt, and Careless and Imprudent Driving.
