Willow Springs, MO – Two southern Missouri men were injured in a one-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon near Vanzant in Douglas County.
The crash occurred at 1:50 p.m. on Missouri 76, 2 miles west of Vanzant. A 2005 Ford F-150 driven by Joseph Bulfer, 73 of Willow Springs, was westbound when it went off the right side of the road and struck a sign before returning to the roadway. The vehicle began to skid before traveling off the left side of the road and overturning.
Bulfer suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. His passenger, Michael Bulfer, 27 of Norwood, had minor injuries and sought his own treatment. Both men had been wearing safety devices.
This accident was investigated by Trooper N. Vines of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G.
