Mountain Home, AR. – A fire in Mountain Home injured two individuals who resided there on the morning of Friday, May 26th.
The Mountain Home Fire Department had initially responded to this call early that morning, at just before 2am. This fire occurred on Buzzard Roost Cutoff, and crews were there on-scene battling the fire for two hours. Fourteen individuals worked at the scene, and the fire is reported to have started in the living room of the home.
Two residents of the home, identified as Roy and Valerie O’Neal, sustained injuries in the event and were taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center for recovery.
While the location of the start of the fire has been announced, the source and cause of the flames are currently unknown and under investigation.
