Wasola, MO. – Two individuals from Mountain Home, AR. are recovering in the Baxter Regional Medical Center after injuries sustained in a crash near Wasola, MO.
This happened on the morning of August 9th, at roughly 11 am. This appears to have happened due to high speed and wet conditions of the road. David Pearson, a 75-year-old Mountain Home resident, was driving a Ford Explorer on Highway 5 Northbound when he hydroplaned and ran off the roadway.
The vehicle hit the ground and came to a controlled stop after, but the driver sustained moderate injuries. Colleen Pearson, 74 of Mountain Home, was an occupant and sustained minor injuries. Both were wearing their safety devices.
The investigator of this crash was Corporal J.R. Roberts of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
