Two Shannon County Teens Injured in Car vs. Bridge Crash

Winona, MO. – Two teens were injured in a one-vehicle accident on MO 19 in Winona Friday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 6:23 a.m. 

A 2006 Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 16-year old male from Winona ran off the roadway and struck a bridge, totaling the vehicle.

The driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains. His passenger, Beau Mcfall, 19 of Eminence, suffered serious injuries and was air lifted to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Neither of the teens had been wearing a seat belt.
