Mountain Grove, Mo. – Two individuals have been arrested following a multi-county pursuit involving an officer being shot at on Sunday. The chase began at 11:00 p.m. south of Mountain Grove.

Wright County Sheriff’s Deputy Brown had his vehicle shot at during the pursuit, which went into Douglas county. After Brown lost sight of the vehicle, a multi-jurisdictional manhunt began with the assistance of the Douglas County Sheriff, Mountain Grove Police, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Missouri Department of Conservation. The cooperation of law enforcement agencies brought about the location of the vehicle and apprehension of two suspects.
