The Thayer First Baptist Church 112 North 3rd Street and the Assembly of God Church 395 Industrial Drive will both in Thayer, MO will open their doors as storm shelters this afternoon. Thayer Chief of Police Daryl Childers told Ozark Radio News that shelters will be open from 1:00 p.m. through 5:00 p.m. or as long as there is need.
