Two-Vehicle Accident Injures Three Adults, One 4-year-old

West Plains, MO. – A two vehicle accident has led to the injury of four adults and one minor on Highway 63 South of West Plains.

Two vehicles were heading Southbound on Highway 63. The first was a 2016 Kia Sorento driven by Taylor Rainwater, 24 of Cherokee Village, and the second, a 2006 Ford Explorer driven by Mark Robinson, 53 of Viola.

The crash occurred as Robinson slowed down for a turning vehicle on the highway, and Rainwater struck his vehicle from behind. Rainwater and one four-year-old occupant were injured in the crash, and two occupants of the Explorer were injured as well.

The juvenile received minor injuries, while the remaining three suffered moderate injury. All were transported to Ozarks Healthcare for treatment.

This accident was investigated by Trooper T.M. Broyles of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
