Birch Tree, MO. – A 2012 Chevy Pickup was turning to travel southbound at the connection of Highway 99 and US 60 at 3:20 PM yesterday on March 30th, 2022.
It was driven by Leeman Reeves, 63 of Birchtree, who failed to yield and ended up striking an eastbound 2004 Ford F150. The Ford was driven by Bruce Thornton, 42 of Eminence. Leeman Reeves sustained moderate injuries, and Norma Thornton, an occupant of the Ford, sustained minor injuries.

In addition, property damage was a result of this accident, as a light pole at the intersection of Highway 99 and US 60 was damaged.
This accident was investigated by Trooper J M Kenyon of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
