Two Vehicle Crash Leads to Arrest for Mountain Home Man

I55, MO. – A man from Mountain Home man has injured another driver and was charged with intoxication related charges, after a crash that occurred on Sunday night.

This accident occurred on I55 Northbound near the 84 mile marker, at roughly 11:25pm.

According to the reports from the highway patrol, William Walker Jr, 32 of Mountain Home, drove his 2020 Ford Escape into the backside of a 2017 Kia Soul, driven by Cheryl Boyet, 60 of Sikeston.

This caused Boyet to run off the roadway and overturn. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident. Boyet suffered moderate injuries as a result of this accident.

Walker was charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated Causing Physical Injury, and Careless and Imprudent Driving.

This accident was investigated by Trooper K.L. Hogan of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop E.
