Two Vehicle Crash near Theodosia sends Two to the hospital

Gainesville, MO. – Two Honda CRVs were involved in an accident on Friday afternoon in Ozark County. The accident occurred on Highway 160 five miles west of Theodosia at 3:20 P.M. A 2016 Honda CRV driven by Imagene Hughes, 87 of Theodosia, was turning left into oncoming traffic and struck a 2015 Honda CRV driven by Cathy Mataitis, 65 of Peel, Ar in the side. Both vehicles received moderate damage. 

Hughes was not reported to have any injuries. Mataitis and her passenger Richard Matiaitis, 60 of Peel, Ar., suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Cox Hospital in Branson.

This accident was investigated by Sgt. L. Elliot of Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop G.
