West Plains, MO. – A two vehicle crash injured a West Plains teen on Friday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred north of West Plains, at the intersection of county roads 1540 and 2010, at 12:35 p.m.
A westbound 2005 Nissan Altima driven by a 17-year old male collided with a 2015 Nissan Altima driven by Dominique Tackitt, 23 of West Plains when both vehicles failed to yield.

Tackitt had been wearing his safety device and was uninjured in the crash. The teen had not been wearing his safety device and suffered moderate injury in the crash. He was taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment.
