Isabella, MO. – A crash that occurred on Monday, November 21st just before 8am has ended with only minor injuries reported, despite the collision involving a semi.
This crash occurred as an Eastbound 1993 Dodge Dakota being driven by Evon Maggard, 19 of Theodosia, crossed the centerline on Highway 160 and came into contact with a 2023 Freightliner being driven by Chris Wright, 50 of Springfield. Maggards vehicle then left the left side of the roadway before coming to rest, while the semi was able to slow to a controlled stop.
The Freightliner sustained minor damage and the driver was uninjured. The Dakota was extensively damaged and Maggard suffered minor injuries from the accident. He afterward sought medical treatment privately.
This accident was investigated by Corporal J.R. Roberts of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
