Two-Vehicle Salem Accident Hospitalizes Both Drivers

Salem, MO. – A Salem accident involving a pair of vehicles has hospitalized both drivers involved, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The investigator of this crash was J.S. Leather of Troop I. They report that the aftermath of this crash totaled both vehicles, a Ford F150, and a Ford Ranger.

The driver of the Ranger, Link Turner, a 79-year-old man from Salem, struck the rear of the F150 when it slowed to make a left turn. Both vehicles were moving Eastbound on Highway 72, and the crash happened four miles North of Salem at roughly 3:55 pm.

Both Turner and the driver of the F150, Randi Fetters, 54 of Salem, were moderately injured in the crash. Turner was taken to Salem Memorial, and Fetters was taken to Phelps Health in Rolla.
