Winona, MO. – Two vehicles traveling around Highway 19 near Winona have been totaled, and one driver injured as a result of an accident at an intersection on September 12th.
The crash occurred at roughly 7:51pm, and was the result of one vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign and striking another vehicle. The first vehicle was a 2003 Honda Accord traveling Westbound by Dawna Stephen, 22 of Poplar Bluff, MO. The second vehicle was a Southbound 2015 GMC Acadia and was being driven Tamber Searles, 29 of Mountain View, MO.
Both women were wearing their safety devices, but Searles left the accident with minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy St Francis in Mountain View for treatment.
This accident was investigated by Trooper N.A. Frazier of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
